You know it's going to be a good post when I'm quoting A Christmas Story in the title. True, it's no leg lamp but isn't the next best thing a Bobby? Yes folks, I have won a coveted Bobby Award on Ravelry. A serious shock to be honest. I almost feel guilty. I won in the category for most colorful stash. Not be be mistaken with stache! Here's where the guilt sinks in. I haven't "stashed" yarn on there in about a year and a half. There are tubs of unstashed yarn that would have made me feel like I actually half way deserved it had they been up. But I am certainly thankful for all those who nominated and voted for me. I'm truly honored.. but still feeling guilty. Oh well, winner winner chicken dinner! I'm not sure what that means either but I know I heard it somewhere, from someone... who was more than likely crazy.
The Bobby glory comes at a good time because that exciting news I was bubbling over about in my last post... let's just forget I ever mentioned anything and move on shall we. Thanks.
So now that I feel like I have my Ravelry reputation to protect I suppose that actually knitting is going to have to take place now. Actual knitting?? I thought hoarding yarn and not knitting it was what all the cool kids were doing these days. Hmm, plan B. I guess I just need some motivation. Time to go put all that unstashed yarn in a big pile and roll around in it. If that doesn't jump start some inspiration then I'm hopeless. Now to take about 200 skeins of yarn out of Ziploc bags...
