Firstly, Cute...
OK, more like seriously cute. I snagged this on Monday in The Loopy Ewe update. The pattern, by CiD Hanscome Designs, even comes with all the bits you need so that he's not a blind floppy limb disappointing mess, aside from the yarn of course. For those of you who aren't aware, I'm crazy for turtles so this is A.W.E.S.O.M.E.
Next we have Cashmere...
Another acquisition from The Loopy Ewe update on Monday. It's String Theory Hand Dyed Yarn, Caper, in Didgeridoo. I'm not sure there are enough words to describe how googoo I am over this yarn. While it's only 10% cashmere, it's the softest, squishiest, most amazing yarn I've ever felt. Honestly.
Now we're at Cool...
I KNOW! Whip out your Visa and buy them now! If you are curious as to size of the coolest pancakes on the planet, feast your eyes on the worst hand model of all time...
How do I even follow those up?? How about with...
Can't believe it!...
Yep, it's an actual pair of socks knit by yours truly. Who would have thought I could still knit?! I was beginning to feel like such a big talker. You know the type... all show, no FO. These beauties were knit out of Dragonfly Fiber, Djinni Sock, in Robin's Egg. Another yarn you can find at The Loopy Ewe. The pattern is just a simple top down 3x1 rib. The color is spectacular and I didn't want to muck it up with a "real" pattern.
Can't forget Cankles...
Definition: what I appear to have every time I try to model my own socks.
So as you can see, I bought plastic chopped off lower extremities to do my dirty work. Worth every penny. I think they need names though. I name pretty much everything and these are yet to have appropriate names. I'd love some suggestions. Comment away.
Last but not least, Consistency...
Defintion: something I plan to have on this blog from now on.
I lurve those pancakes molds...I have to have them! Those socks look super-cosy too :D
